RED OAK, Iowa – U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Ranking Member of the Senate Small Business Committee, today announced her Small Business of the Week: AERO Race Wheels of Emmet County. Throughout this Congress, Ranking Member Ernst plans to recognize a small business in every one of Iowa’s 99 counties. 

“Designed to endure the tough requirements and conditions of the racing industry, products from AERO Race Wheels have a proven track record of going the distance,” said Ranking Member Ernst. “Dedication to their customers and a passion for their sport have propelled the AERO team to success, and I look forward to watching their business continue to grow in northwestern Iowa and beyond.”

AERO Race Wheels is a steel racing wheel manufacturer based in Estherville, Iowa. F.L. “Skip” Miller established the business as a division of Armstrong Rim and Wheel in 1995 before purchasing AERO Race Wheels with his wife Diane in 1998. Their steel wheels are made in the USA, available in a variety of finishes, and can be driven on both asphalt and dirt tracks. AERO wheels are used by racers across the country, including on the NASCAR Xfinity and Truck circuits. NASCAR Hall of Famers Richard Petty, Jimmie Johnson, and the late Dale Earnhardt, Sr. have all raced with AERO Race Wheels over the course of their careers, and AERO’s 59 Series NASCAR wheel has won more Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series races than all other brands combined.
